Questions answered
How long does a build take?
A Launch project usually runs four to eight weeks and a Rebuild eight to sixteen, depending on how many pages there are and how much content is written from scratch rather than moved across. Hosted for You sites go live in days. The clock starts once the kickoff call and onboarding form are done, and you get a dated schedule before work begins. The biggest cause of delay is feedback waiting for a reply, so review windows are agreed at the start.
Which service is right for me?
It depends on where your site is now. If the design and content are settled and it just needs building properly, that is Launch. If the site says the wrong thing to the wrong people, that is Rebuild. If the site is good but nobody finds it, that is Grow. If you want it looked after without lifting a finger, that is Maintain. And if you want the whole website done for you and run for a monthly fee, that is Hosted for You. Not sure? A thirty-minute call settles it.
What does a website cost?
Launch starts from $3,750 and Rebuild from $6,250, with the exact figure set by page count, features and how much content is written rather than moved across. You get a fixed number in writing before anything begins, with no hourly billing and no scope surprises. Grow starts at $1,500 a month and Maintain at $1,200 a month. Why Squarespace only?
Because specialising is why the work looks custom and ships in weeks rather than months. Knowing one platform inside out means knowing its limits and how to get past them. It also means you can run the site yourself afterwards without paying a developer for every text change, nothing breaks on a plugin update, and hosting and security are handled. Our own site is built on Squarespace too. Hosted for You is the one exception, because those sites are built and hosted by us.
Will I lose rankings if I move platforms?
Not with a mapped migration. Every old URL gets a 301 redirect to its new page, page titles, descriptions and headings move with the content, and schema is rebuilt. We take a ranking snapshot before the move and check it after, so the effect is measured rather than assumed. Some movement in the first two weeks is normal while Google recrawls the site. A permanent drop only happens when a migration is not mapped, which is exactly what the process prevents.
Do I have to take a partnership?
No. Launch and Rebuild are complete on their own and fully handed over, with training and 30 days of support and no lock-in. Grow and Maintain are for businesses that want the site to keep improving without doing the work themselves. Most clients stay on one, but it is a choice made after launch, not a condition of starting. If you want both, combining them saves 10% on the monthly fee.
What do you need from me to start?
A thirty-minute call, then a short onboarding form covering your goals, reference sites, brand assets and any existing content. On Rebuild and Hosted for You the copy is written for you, so you do not need to arrive with it. What helps most is honest input on the call about who you sell to and what makes you different. Photography is the one thing worth investing in yourself, and we will tell you exactly what to shoot.
Who owns the site when it’s finished?
On Launch and Rebuild, you do. The domain, the Squarespace account and every piece of content are in your name from day one, with no agency lock-in, and nothing stops working if you walk away. On Hosted for You, your domain and content are yours, while the design, code and hosting stay with us, which is what keeps the monthly price low. If you ever cancel, we hand over your content and point your domain wherever you choose.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes. After Launch or Rebuild, text, images, pages and blog posts are all editable in-house, and you get a recorded walkthrough of your own site so nothing needs a developer. If nobody on your team has time, Maintain handles changes within 48 hours. On Hosted for You there is nothing to learn at all, because every change is made for you. You just send it in your WhatsApp group.
Is the site built for Google and AI search?
Yes. Page titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, image alt text and structured data are set up on every page as it is built, so search engines and AI tools like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews can read and cite the site from launch. That is the foundation. For steady growth after launch, Grow and the Growth and Pro plans on Hosted for You publish new pages every month, built around what your customers search for.
Do you work with clients outside Denmark?
Yes. The studio is based in Aalborg and works with clients worldwide, mostly in the UK, EU, US and Australia. Everything runs remotely, with calls scheduled around your time zone and later slots kept for US clients. Work happens asynchronously by default, so you can send feedback whenever it suits you, and during an active project you will never wait more than one business day for a reply.
